North Fork, Fireweed Whiskeys among the Best in the World
Medals decorate many Glacier Distilling spirits in 2017
The results are in, and 2017 is a year to remember for Glacier Distilling Company. The distillery’s flagship rye whiskey and cherry bourbon are among those receiving top honors.
North Fork rye whiskey took home a gold medal from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and Fireweed Flathead cherry bourbon received the same honor at SIP International. Glacier Distilling Company’s Trail of the Cedars absinthe took home a silver medal from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
Founder of Glacier Distilling Company, Nic Lee, and Chief Marketing Officer, Molly Thorvilson, attended the American Craft Spirits Association Convention in Nashville, TN in February, when the team took home a silver medal for North Fork whiskey, and bronze medals for both Fireweed cherry bourbon and Trail of the Cedars absinthe.
In a competition among Montana distilleries at the Feast Whitefish celebration, Glacier Distilling Company’s Bad Rock Rye single-barrel, cask strength whiskey took home best whiskey for the second year in a row.
