The Still Life

Autumn has always been an opportune time to reflect on stillness and tranquility. Here in Northwest Montana, this season is uniquely marked by short, crisp days, forests turned gold by the remarkable western larch and time-honored traditions like hunting, school sports, family gatherings.   As we all transition away from another bustling summer season, we invite you to join us in a collective deep breath and reflect on the bare essentials that make living here so damn wonderful. 

As we approach the next busy season, we wish to take this time to slow down, seek quietness and reflect on why we do what we do.  We integrate this essence of tranquility and reflectiveness into the production of each of our small batch spirits. The “still life” affords us the opportunity to enjoy the finer parts of life and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us here.  We believe quality comes from deliberate attention to detail and an adamant belief in our product; it starts with turning the lights on in the barn early in the morning and carries all the way to us pouring you a drink with a smile. 

We invite you to stoke a fire, pour a glass of whiskey and surround yourself with your loved ones to give thanks for the things that really matter.  Here at Glacier Distilling, we are deeply grateful for the landscape we are immersed in, our loyal customers and our amazing staff--it all comes together in our spirits!
