Bad Rock

Straight Rye Whiskey: Cask Strength

Proof: 59% Alc. by Vol. (118 Proof)

Bad Rock Canyon, flanked by Columbia Mountain to the south of Teakettle Mountain to the north, forms the natural gateway to Glacier National Park. Just upriver from this narrow passage is where we distill Bad Rock rye whiskey from a unique mash of rye, rye malt, and corn. Bottled at cask strength, it is a bold and savory whiskey with notes of wood spice, black pepper, and a salted caramel finish.

Sizes: 750ml, 375ml

Distillers Notes

Grain Bill: 51% organic rye from Vilicus Farms in Havre, Montana, 24% malted rye, and 25% corn.

Cooperage: 15-gallon new char #4 white oak barrels from the Barrel Mill in Minnesota.

Aging: Aged for a minimum of 3 years.

Bottling Notes: Bottled at cask strength to deliver a full flavor expression. The use of rye malt instead of barley malt adds a unique savory depth, while the heavily charred oak imparts deep caramel sweetness with smoky overtones.
