Grappa

Brandy

Proof: 40% Alc. by Vol. (80 Proof)

Made from the pomace (skins, pulp, seeds, and stems) left over after pressing grapes for wine. Grappa has a close connection with the earth, capturing not only the flavor of the grape but also the wind, water and soil in which it was grown. Grappa is popular in parts of Europe, where it was once seen as a “poor man’s brandy,” and in Italy, people often enjoy a shot of it in their espresso.

Distillers Notes

We carefully gather pressed grape pomace and slowly distill it in our still, “Brutus.” Each batch requires a large amount of pomace, resulting in only a small yield of spirit. The flavor reflects the essence of grape skins and seeds, offering earthy tones and subtle fruit notes that vary with each grape variety.
