During the hard winter of 1900, two beloved draft horses wandered from a logging camp. They were found a month later, skinny, and half-starved—but alive—in a sleepy town near Glacier National Park. They were nursed back to health and the town was named Hungry Horse in their honor. Hungry Horse Rum is for those with the grit and determination to survive the harsh Montana winters. Don’t leave camp without it.

Distillers Notes
Our rum starts as a fermentation of turbinado sugar with a touch of molasses, then undergoes a careful double distillation before resting in used whiskey barrels. Over time, the rum absorbs subtle nuances from the barrel, developing hints of molasses, vanilla, and brown sugar, along with a gentle whiskey finish. Each batch evolves uniquely as the barrels continue to impart their character.
