A cherry brandy originating from the Black Forest region of Germany. We keep the old-world tradition; no sugar or other flavors are ever added. Only 100% perfectly ripened cherries direct from Flathead Lake, fermented whole and distilled in our copper pot still.

Distillers Notes

This kirschwasser begins with whole red cherries from Flathead Lake, fermented—pits, skins, and all—in an open environment for about two weeks. The open fermentation allows natural yeasts and airborne influences to add subtle complexity. After fermentation, the mash is double-distilled in our copper pot still and bottled without any added sugar or flavorings. The result is a crisp, aromatic spirit with notes of cooked pie cherries, delicate hints of maraschino, and a gentle vanilla flavor from the cherry pits.

In a shaker:

1 oz Kirschwasser

1 oz Cherry preserves

Lime wedge, squeezed

5 fresh mint leaves

Shake and dump into juice mason

Top with ice and sparkling water

Garnish with spanked mint
