“Oro y Plata” means "Gold and Silver" in Spanish and is a fitting motto for the state of Montana, whose mountains have yielded fortunes to miners since the mid-1800s. We also thought it a name befitting our treasured agave spirit, which comes off our still silver in color and acquires a golden hue from finishing in oak barrels.

Distillers Notes

Our agave spirit begins with wild heirloom agave nectar, fermented and pot-distilled to capture its bright, fresh character. Unlike tequila which is made specifically from Blue Weber agave, Oro y Plata is distilled from a wild heirloom agave variety. After distillation, the spirit is rested in used whiskey barrels for up to a year, softening its profile and adding a hint of oak. On the palate, expect delicate notes of apple and pear, balanced by light agave flavors with a touch of citrus and earthiness. The golden finish and nuanced character make it a treasure worth savoring.
